Girls Hockey: New Year, New School

Late Summer Coaching Clinic

Have We Started Again?

Another summer has come and gone, and so have another
pair of talented skaters. Another two varsity girls started
the school year at another school yesterday.

It is really sad to lose a career 100-point scorer before her
senior year.

What kind of a head coach would openly respond to a remark posted on its own hockey website or high school forum? For that matter, even directing it at a 17 yr. old high school kid. You have no respect from me!!!!!

If I read this right, Coach Chris responded to a quote, by Torrin Polk. Not to a 17 year old girl, as I don’t see her quoted anywhere. He stated a fact. Respect goes both ways and is earned. I see nothing inappropriate about his comment.

Unfortunately you cannot please everyone all the time. Especially teenaged girls. She will be missed this year.

WOW! You are something else? You must know alot about hockey or sports in general. Tipicle! Ya your right, he responded to a quote, directed at one of his players. Very unprofessional!

Quotable:

I consider the Detroit Red Wings one of the greatest franchises in any sport. For a player to come in and play, it's so special to wear the jersey.
