MINNESOTA PRIDE WIN GOLD
Former Mound-Westonka Hockey Association skaters Matt Cosgriff and Philip Dunn celebrated a Gold medal with their Minnesota Pride teammates at the 2005 Can Am Hockey Tournament in Lake Placid, New York in April.
The Pride is a team of all-star skaters from across the state. They are coached by Minnesota Made Hockey Coach Bernie McBain.
Finishing 4-1 in the tournament, the Pride defeated teams from Nova Scotia (2), Ontario Canada, and Staaten Island NY to take gold.
Cosgriff had a goal and had seven assists in the tournament.
Both will return to varsity action as Juniors next season. Dunn plays for Mound. Cosgriff plays for Breck.
Congratulations! Pride on Ice is alive and well.
